Teen Mom S4 Episode 4 Recap

Teen Mom Season 4 Episode 4
"Strike Out"

Farrah:
Farrah's neighbor Adam asks her out. They o for golf, and it's a bit awkward, I'm not gonna lie. They do seem to have fun though and after their little date he tells her that he would like to take her out for her 20th Birthday. During the day Farrah takes Sophia to the Miami Zoo which is awesome and cute. Then  at dinner with her new friend Farrah gets a bit feisty when talking about relaxing. She practically fights with this guy about how she doesn't relax. She works. She found him kind of annoying and feels that she is more responsible then him.

Maci:
I have to start off with the craziest thing ever... Maci apparently texted Ryan telling him that it was stupid for him to go on vacation with Dalis because he would have had more fun with her!!! What?? All those random fans that say she still loves him may be right about that!
Ryan asks Maci if she wants to come to the beach to see Bentley so he can get it over with. After an awkward introduction to Dalis, Bentley has a meltdown because he wants to be spending time with his dad. I want to mention that Maci comes to the beach with around 10 girlfriends. Kind of intimidating.
Maci talks about how Ryan's girlfriends will never be as good as Maci. She even says that Kyle will never be as good to Bentley as Ryan. Which I understand.. but she also referred to Dalis as "this bitch."
Later on Maci meets up with Ryan and his family for a family photo. Maci doesn't want Dalis in the photo and lucky for her Dalis hung back and let them do their thing. Maci then invited them to a club later that night and Dalis said yes.
Maci meets her friends for dinner before going to the club and of course Dalis is the topic of conversation. Ryan declines the invitation to go out with them. Maci wasn't too bummed but wishes she could get to know Dalis.

Amber:
Gary heads out to Malibu to see Amber. Meanwhile Amber talks more with counselors about her future. She claims that she is trying to change into a better person. Gary misunderstood the situation though and the three of them were NOT allowed to be in the same room at the same time. So Amber meets with Gary for a moment and then darts to Leah because she really seemed to miss her very much.
Amber and Gary have a therapy session while he is there. It starts off well but Amber takes things that Gary says badly and freaks out. He honestly wasn't saying anything mean. He was just talking about what usually happens with the two of them.
After cooling off she comes back to the conversation and commits to starting over with Gary.

Catelynn:
Tyler's dad Butch moves in with them and Tyler tells him to not be stupid and he can stay for the 6 months he needs to. Unfortunately Butch didn't come home when he was supposed to and Tyler had to lock him out. Tyler decides that he doesn't want to be an enabler for his father to continue to destroy his life.
Butch finally shows back up and Tyler is less than thrilled to see him. He says he was hanging out with some buddies of his and didn't think he needed to report to Tyler. He promises though that he wont do anything like that again.

  1. I don't get this for another two hours (West coast) but by the sound of this recap, it's the same old snooze fest :(

  2. I have always liked Maci, even with her partying because shes just being a teen. But I just want her to leave Ryan and his girlfriend alone. Its completly obvious she is not over him.

    1. I second this. Maci was a rude bitch the whole episode when Dalis did nothing to deserve that treatment. Everyone tried saying she was acting like that by talking rudely about Dalis last episode because she hadn't met her yet, but this episode she met her and she was STILL talking shit about her. Like damn, Maci move on. I can't believe she tries and pretends she doesn't love Ryan anymore, NOBODY believes that now after this episode because it was painfully obvious.

  8. I loved Dalis! Ryan seemed so happy, and that is completely out of character for him. She seems like a little ball of sunshine too haha. Dear God, Maci made such a jerk of herself in this episode. I love how she defended herself last week and said "I was just talking crap with my bffs (all 99 of them)." But she's not an idiot (at least I don't think she is?), she's on TV. Obviously she knew Dalis would hear her yapping to her girlfriends about how Dalis 'should' act around her, as if she's some kind of royalty. My heart did break for her a little when Bentley clearly didn't want anything to do with her at the beach, but she shouldn't have intruded on their vacation. Bad call on her part.

Then inviting them to go to the club so she can 'see how Dalis interacts.' That's an interesting place to invite someone that you want to get to know. Why not ask her to go out to dinner with them or to the mall or something, where they could actually have a conversation instead of bumping and grinding on anything that moves. Maci is so weird.

After this episode, it's clear that Farrah is going to treat anyone she meets like total crap once she knows them for all of 2 weeks. The guy was obviously trying to invite her on another date to the beach to 'relax,' but she acted her normal self and was unnecessarily mean to him. She needs to be nicer to people or she's going to end up with a guy that talks to her the way she talks to everyone else.

Leah seemed genuinely happy to see Amber. I wish she hadn't lashed out irrationally at Gary. She really needs help with her anger.

I feel so bad for Tyler having to reverse parent his dad. I don't know how people can continue to put themselves in situations that lead to prison. Maybe Tyler should make him pay rent and take on some responsibility so that he doesn't have all the free time to go out with his buddies.

  9. That seriously made me mad when Farrah basically told Adam that her life is so much harder than his because he doesn't have a kid. That's bull. There are other things in life that can make you busy and stress you out. One of my best friends is a parent and she has sooooo much more free time than I do and I don't have a kid. When I want to take a break from my life and relax, I babysit her kid. Farrah just thinks she's better than everyone.

  10. Macy will always be in love with Ryan....

  11. I used to like Maci but I think fame got to her head. She shouldn't have intruded on Ryan's vacation. She is always complaining that Ryan doesn't parent but obviously she doesn't let him. I thought her comments about Dalis were disrespectful. I understand wanting to meet the person who is around your child but Dalis didn't do anything to deserve all the crap Maci kept spewing out. Maci really makes it seem like she still wants to be with Ryan. I enjoyed how she was complaining about Dalis coming on vacation after they had only been dating a few weeks yet how long was she with Kyle when they moved in together?

Farrah was ridiculous in this episode. She treated Adam like crap. Yes, she has been through her share of hurt and hardships. I seem to remember her 16&Pregnant episode where she lied to Derek and talked about how terrible their relationship was but I guess that was until she realized that she could get sympathy. She has a kid and goes to school. Her life is not that hard. I have two kids, go to school, and take care of my husband who was severely wounded in Afghanistan. And I don't have babysitters or nannies to give me a break. She has no idea what Adam has experienced in his life and she shouldn't be acting like she is superior.

Amber and Gary should not be together. Amber will never get her anger under control. I think she blames Gary for everything which is why she is so quick to lash out at him. It's obvious that her addiction has taken over her life and come before her daughter which is a shame. It was nice to see Amber with Leah because she seemed genuinely happy.

  12. This episode made Macy look like a jerk. I can understand why Ryan seemed so unhappy with her and seems so incredibly happy with Dalis. Dalis seems like a really nice girl.

I thought Farrah handled herself well around Adam. I mean what's a almost 30 year old want to do with a just turned 20 year old...

I felt bad for Tyler. Couldn't imagine having to parent my parent. Kinda wierd.

And Amber....oh Amber. Poor girl. Hope she gets straightened out. Soon.

    1. Farrah is 20 years old not 12!! What 20 year old dude would want a female with that attitude and a child anyways?? This 30 year old guy would have been much more responsible and commited to her then any given 20 year old!

    2. Just my opinions, don't freak out. Didn't come here to argue. Obviously you have the same maturity level as what you are accusing Farrah of having.

    3. I'm not tryin to be rude but she really has a nasty attitude and treats people so poorly!! I use to like Farrah, and now she even treats her parents like crap and all they want is the best for her! I guess in her eyes nobody is good enough for her not even her own family!!

  13. Amber seemed so high the entire episode. Sad.

  14. "During the day Maci(??) takes Sophia to the Miami Zoo which is awesome and cute."

"After an awkward introduction to Maci Bentley has a meltdown because he wants to be spending time with his dad."
Pretty sure Bentley and Maci have met... you mean when she was introduced to Dalis?

Come on now, if I wanted to read a blog with sloppy editing then I would just go back to Teen Mom Talk.

    1. Haha that's what makes Teen Mom Talk entertaining. I get the first quote. I'm going to give her the benefit of the doubt and assume she meant, "After an awkward introduction between Dalis and Maci, Bentley has a meltdown..." and she just worded it funny, but the then/than mistakes bugged me.

    2. Thank you for pointing out my typos in the nicest way you could. I know it was probably hard for you.

I apologize for being a human being. My bad.

  15. I found the vacation I be sooo WEIRD. Ryan was partying up with his friends and brand new girls friend, plus had his son for when he wanted time with him, and his parents, his baby mama, and a huge group of her friends! Just weird that Maci invited herself on their vacation, I don't understand it at all.

And Farrah...really? She was being such a bitch about that guy telling her she needs to have a lazy day. "well you'll be on the beach and I will be working...making money." shut uppp. I think what really happened was HE stopped talking to HER after that date (because she's an uptight bitch!)...& she jut tried to make it look like she stopped talking to HIM bc the cameras were there haha

    1. Farrah is just a stuck up bitch!!! No man is gonna like her attitude!!! She is lucky if any dude wants her with that attitude!!

    2. It's almost kind of sad that Farrah just doesn't understand that you can't treat people like that, especially people you've just met if you want them to stick around. She just doesn't get it. I'm actually kind of embarrassed for her.

    3. I'm not defending Farrah, but I think she constantly keeps herself so busy because she has a difficult time coping with her emotions. If she stops to relax that's when the flood gates open... so to speak. I'm just speculating.

    4. Farrah needs to loosen up a little!!

  16. I really like Dalis. I'm surprised she was able to keep her cool with Maci. I would have socked her. And we all know Dalis could knock Maci out with one punch with her guns! Maci is a stick and Dalis is strong as hell lol. Which is even funnier that Maci was trying to be intimating to a girl that is 50x stronger lmao.

  17. So much for Maci being 'sweeter'! i think we can ALL agree she was NOT the sweeter one after this episode!!!
