The Teen Mom Farewell Special

Tuesday October 2nd 2012 marks the true end for Teen Mom with a 90 minute Farewell Special.

Catelynn:
The Casting Tapes:
Catelynn and Tyler found out about the show 16 & Pregnant through their adoption counselor Dawn. They wanted to show people that adoption is out there and maybe help some other teens in their situation. They never thought the show would take off the way it did. Catelynn didn't think they would even get picked for the show but Tyler was optimistic and talked her into sending in a tape. Fun fact: Catelynn told Tyler that she was pregnant while in the car and apparently the color drained from his face!

The First Days of filming:
Cate and Tyler say that they had no idea what they were in for. They were confused and nervous about filming. Tyler kept asking "what do i do?" It's hard to not look at a camera crew right in your face! After a few days of filming Cate says that she got more comfortable and started to not even notice the cameras.

The Memorable Moments:
Some of the most memorable parts of Teen Mom with Catelynn and Tyler were the huge fights they would get into with their parents. Things have certainly changed between Catelynn and her mom. April has come around completely to the thought of adoption and fully supports it now.
The best Catelynn and Tyler moment of Teen Mom has to be the one year visit with Carly. It was so emotional for everyone. They are so happy that they can look back on that footage for ever.

Popularity:
Catelynn and Tyler don't consider themselves celebrities at all. Tyler talks about fans coming up to them all nervous. When people say that they are famous he says "ah the "F" word!" He adds that "famous" and "celebrity" are like two curse words that they never use!

Birth Control:
Tyler: Think twice before you are sexually active. And never use a condom that you washed in the washing machine. Cate plans on telling her future children about contraception, sex and anything else they need to know about.

Where Are They Now?:
Catelynn and Tyler are both in college, planning the wedding and living happily together in a new beautiful home. Catelynn picks out her wedding dress with her mom, Tyler's mom and sister. (There is someone else there but I didn't catch who she was, my bad) Catelynn and Tyler go to a cake testing and talk about incorporating Carly into the wedding cake somehow and also talk about how nice it would be for Carly to be at their wedding.
Cate and Tyler celebrate Carly's third birthday with their moms. They each say something that they wish for her before blowing out the candle. Brandon and Teresa finally let Cate and Tyler know where they live and are trusting them a lot more. Dawn suggests writing them a letter asking them to think about attending the wedding. Hopefully they agree!

Maci:
The Casting Tapes:
Maci's mom found out about the show when she spotted an add on craigslist. Ryan and his family didn't even know that she applied or sent in a tape! Ryan didn't really want to be a part of the show either and was kind of upset with her about it. In her tape she says her parents weren't mad when she told them she was pregnant but her dad did cry. Ryan's parents were excited after the initial shock. Ryan reveals that he didn't even really see Maci as a serious relationship at the time, just a girl he was dating. Maci goes on in her casting tape about getting married, moving out, and being happy.

The First Days of filming:
Maci was so uncomfortable and had a hard time pretending the cameras weren't there. Ryan wasn't happy about the camera crew filming them at all especially while he was laying in bed.

Maci talks about when she and Ryan were planning to get married, she said that she knew she wasn't ready to get married. All the parents (of Ryan and Maci) pushed them to work things out but they knew it wasn't happening. Maci says that she was living in denial. She breaks down in tears while thinking back to that time of her life. Ryan's parents say that Ryan now realizes how important it is for Bentley to have parents together and getting along. His mom says that he feels bad that Bentley wont grow up with his parents together.

The Memorable Moments:
The day Maci and Ryan went to mediation was a very important moment captured for the show. Maci says if she could go back to that day she wouldn't give up an extra day for Ryan to have Bentley. Ryan says she always wants to have the upper hand in everything. They show clips of Maci at Bentley's 2nd Birthday party telling Ryan that she can just take him if she wants to and then Ryan calling her a name. She says that she has never seen her father talk to her mother like that and she doesn't understand why Ryan does it to her. Ryan says that Maci was being selfish that day.
One of the best memorable Maci moments was when Bentley said Mama for the first time! She says she is amazed at the insane love she has for her son.

Popularity:
Maci and Ryan never thought about the fact that people would recognize them and want to constantly be taking pictures. There is a great clip of a woman stopping Maci and telling her that she loves the show. Maci goes "they're filming right now!" gesturing to the camera crew behind her. The woman steps back when she notices the cameras and apologizes. Maci just laughs and says its fine.

Birth Control:
Maci had no idea how to get birth control or if she even could without her mother's consent. Maci and Ryan hadn't been together very long and never talked about birth control. Maci's advice to young girls is to open your mouth and talk about it.

Where is Maci Now?:
Remember that everything is taped in advance, so this footage is from the summer! Maci talks about her and Kyle's break up a little bit and says again that he was cheating on her. (Which he now denies. since this special was taped Maci and Kyle have gotten back together... and broken up again.) Maci has moved into a new house with her girlfriends. She has been a news anchor for the Chattanooga Student News. Bentley is still attending pre-school and everyone is getting along about that now. Ryan moved out of his parents house. He was briefly broken up with Dalis during the filming of this special, but soon got back together and are still together today. When they were both single Maci is asked if she will get back together with Ryan. She says they probably wont be getting back together any time soon but she wont say that it will never happen. Maci and Ryan have learned to get along better and don't argue when picking up and dropping off Bentley.

Farrah:
The Casting Tapes:
Farrah was perusing modeling and acting when she found out about 16 & Pregnant. This for her was a way of staying in that industry even though she was pregnant. In true Farrah form she was very optimistic about her future and professional in her video.

The First Days of Filming:
No one knew she was pregnant. So it was hard to explain all the cameras following her around school. She told everyone that they were taping her for a show about teenage life.

Farrah says she acted the way she did in the first season of Teen Mom (going out all the time) because she was trying to escape her reality of being a teenage mother and being without her child's father. Debra says that she has seen Farrah grow and become much more realistic over the past couple of years.

The Memorable Moments:
When Farrah admits that Derek passed away and her emotional moments of grief over him. Farrah says that her mom still to this day doesn't fully understand what she is going through as far as her feelings for Derek go.

Popularity:
Farrah says that there is "no glamour here." Debra says that they never thought they would be famous or that so many people would know who they are.

Birth Control:
Debra says that she never explained birth control but talked with Farrah about abstinence due to their religion. Farrah wants girls to make good choices in their relationships and wait to have sex.

Where is Farrah Now?:
Farrah is working on her restaurant, her "self employed projects", modeling and acting. Sophia is in early learning school. She is very intelligent and learning so much. During the day Farrah meets with friends and has any meetings she needs to get done. Farrah has a fabulous flamboyant guy friend who I adored after 2 minutes of watching him! She talks about her move to Florida and how things are still a challenge.
Visiting her mom in Iowa, it looks like Debra might be to blame for Soph still depending on her pacifier. Farrah tells her that she doesn't need her "sucky" but Debra insists that Farrah sucked her thumb for a long time! Farrah takes Sophia to visit Derek, where she makes a great little video of her talking to Derek.

Amber:
The Casting Tape:
Amber reveals that when she found out she was pregnant she called her mom out of a dinner and they all cried a lot. She says that her mom hated Gary and her mom said she would be there for her.. but she was a "b*tch" to her ever since. Which may have just been that teenage exaggeration coming out!

The First Days of filming:
Gary and Amber went to find out the sex of the baby. There is a super sweet clip of them finding out that they were having a baby girl!

The Memorable Moments:
Of course.... the fights, especially the violent ones. Amber's mom says that they used leah against each other. Gary says that Amber didn't like what she saw when she watched herself on the show. Most of the cast weigh in on Amber and they all say that Amber needs to hold her head high and that they all love and support her. Maci says that Amber has helped her through this journey of being on tv. Debra says that she admires Amber and wants her to know that she is loved and cared for. Farrah looks like she is going to cry and says that people love to kick others when they are down. She would know, people are horrible to her just as much as they are to Amber. Everyone agrees that Amber is a good person and they all hope that she gets better soon.

Popularity:
Amber got the negative side of all the attention. Paparazzi was all over her when she was in and out of jail. Tonya (Amber's mom) says that the paparazzi were parked down the street from their house.

Birth Control:
Gary says always use a condom unless you are ready to care for a child.

Where is Amber Now?:
Leah is now in dance classes. At this point in filming Amber was in her drug court rehab program and living with her grandparents. Gary says that no matter how much time he has with Leah, he isn't her mother. Gary agrees to take Amber to a court hearing. Which turns out to be the day that she asks the court to give her the full 5 year sentence instead of continuing rehab. Gary gets emotional on his ride home from the courthouse. Her mom says that life had become too much for Amber, the stress, the temptations of her drug problem. Leah doesn't really know or understand what is going on with Amber. Gary doesn't know if he should explain it to her or if he should take leah to visit Amber in prison. He has a lot of questions that he doesn't know how to answer.

He gets a call from Amber, she says that she is going to prison and that she might get out in 2 and a half years. She sounds calm and says that everything will be okay.

Everyone gets emotional talking about her. Gary says that he hopes someone has learned something from her life. "It can't all be for nothing. It can't be." Gary reads an emotional letter that he got from Amber in the mail.

Next week MTV will air a new Special called "Amber Portwood Behind Bars" where we will get a real look at her life in prison. Make sure you catch that October 9th at 10pm.

The entire cast hopes that teens have learned from watching their stories. Goodbye Teen Mom! We will miss you.

  1. Ugh. gary dosen't know how he surived it all?? Is that cause you're so big and your blood preasure is so high that a punch to the head could cause an anurism.

and Cate and Ty probably wouldn't be happy to hear that their story made up my mind NOT to give my daughter up.

    1. No I don't think they would be upset to hear that. I think the whole point of their story was to show the pros and cons of adoption, to help people choose what they think is RIGHT for them. Not to just make every person want adoption.

    2. His weight has nothing to do with what was posted, nor is it any of your business.

    3. No but it does have to do with the fact that he dosen't care to stay healthy. It makes me mad that there articles bashing the moms that smoke yrt no one mentions that his weight wil kill him faster than smoking will kill them. I hate Gary, he's a whinely little ass that caused just as many problems and fights as amber. More than her really, she's jsut the one that blew up.

As far as ty and cate. They just seem like they think a teenager should give their baby up for adoption. Saying oh they can have a better life yadda yadda. Seeing them just made me realize that adoption is not the life I wanted for my daughter. I'm one of the lucky ones. Her dad is the let her put a tiara on his head and play tea party with her. I'm all for adoption, it's far better than abortion, but I don't like how they talk about how it's this wonderful wonderful thing. I mean it is but I think that parenting is better for the parents and the child. Provided they'll be good parents and do anything and everything possible to give their child the best life they can.

    4. Not everyone who gets pregnant as a teenager can have what you have for your daughter. (It's great that you do) If Cate & Ty kept Carly I'm pretty sure it would have all bad. Babies shouldn't be around smoking, drinking & the crazy fighting. If they kept Carly that poor little girl could get health problems around that smoking. I think Cate & Ty wanted to tell other teenagers that if they had a bad house like they did it is best to have the baby adopted.

    5. ^Cheers to that, Anon 12:32. I agree, C&T aren't trying to glamourize or railroad any teen parent into choosing adoption but rather make it seem like a less scary, accessible option to those who might be struggling with the choice. There is a tremendous stigma when it comes to adoption, a lot of which we hear spewing from the oh-so enlightened mouth of Butch ("All that baby needs is love!" "You wanna abandon your child?!") so kudos to C&T for putting their child's needs before their own and ensuring that she has the best start possible.

Gary on the other hand... man. When beef gravy runs through your veins, it's probably hard to make mature choices in life. Good luck to little Leah, she's off to a rough start.

    6. Well I was older when I had my.baby. We were able to.get our own place. I know they did what they thought was best. Im not in their situation so I cant say if I agree or not. I guess I dont think they look down on parents that keep the babies but to me it seems like they do glamourize adoption. Its better in.some ways but rough on everyone to. The adoptive parents and the child go though rough emotional journys to. I just dont like when she says things like "if I was selfish I would have kept carly" or "i could have been a mom I just didnt want to". I also thinl april gets a bad rep about it. I mean for 6 months she thought she was gunna be a grandma then boom adoptiom. Thats hard. Butch is an awful person though. I wish ty had sent that letter.

I feel so bad for leah to. I just hope gary dosent let her get obese to. Poor baby.

    7. I don't think it glamorizes adoption at all. You see their pain on the show, and you also see the happiness of Carly and her adoptive parents. You see both sides of it.

and honestly it would have been selfish for her to keep Carly. She sacrificed her own feelings so that her daughter could have a great life. Which she does.

      Delete
    8. I just don't like how much she pushes it. Shes not like omg give your baby up now but she does talk it up a lot. It's not just her, it's the cou.slers who say oh you didnt give up anything you made an adoption plan. Yes, she did give her daughter up. She didnt do a bad thing but its not all good either. It's never selfish to be a parent though. Had they kept her carly would have grown up different than she is but they would have been good parents

      Delete
    9. Saying that you made an adoption plan over saying "given up" is a way of coping. Adoption is not a horrible thing and you shouldn't feel guilty about it. (you will of course though) which is why using positive words keeps you sane and helps you remember that you made a good decision.

If Catelynn and Tyler kept Carly, you have to remember that they were 16. Their relationship most likely would not have held up to the stress of having a child. They would not have been great parents because they were still children who had screwed up lives themselves.

They couldn't support themselves and would have had an infant in a home with an alcoholic and a drug addict. Or they would have lived with Tyler's mom where they couldn't sleep in the same room. OR they would have broken up and that little baby would have bounced back and forth between homes.

They were able to foresee that and decide that they didn't want that for their child. They wanted that innocent child to be raised by people who were older, wiser, financially stable, married etc. etc.

They don't PUSH adoption on people. Most girls don't even consider adoption. Most young teens don't even know about adoption or the different kinds of adoption. Their goal is to educate more people so that if that random pregnant teen is in a horrible situation they can consider adoption over abortion or raising a child in an unsafe environment.

      Delete
    10. Well the only time you should consider it is if you're in a situation as bad as ty and cates and most people arent. So the fact that.most girls dont is a very good thing. Ty and cate made a good choice but adoption is only a good choice if keeping the.baby and giving him/her a good life would basically be impossible.

      Delete
    11. Which is why more people need to understand it. There are a lot of people in bad situations that don't consider it because they are uneducated. That is what Cate and Tyler are trying to change.

      Delete
    12. They act like they think its an option to be considered for every teen mom. If a young parent is in an awful situation then yes they should consider it. It's FAR FAR batter than abortion (I only hope that with Briana being on teen mom 3 they don't start trying to make that sound all great and wonderful, I don't care who says what the only time that is a better choice than adoption is if the child is going to have some condition or disorder that will never allow them to lead a happy life). My point is that not every young parent should consider it. If you don't have to don't think about it. I think if you have a baby you should take care of it. Now I understand that not everyone can and sometimes adoption is the best choice but I think that if someone gives their baby up and they could have teken care of them and given them a happy life it makes them selfish. Cate and Ty gave Carly up because no matter how hard they worked or hoe much they sacrificed they could not have given her a stable life because of April and Butch. Some people give their children up because they would have be a teen/young adult than a parent. To me that's just not wanting to take care of your responsibilities.

  2. No, let's not hope Brandon and Teresa let Carly go to the wedding. She is THEIR child, and they ALONE get to make the decisions as of what is best for her. They don't want her in the public eye, which is why she stopped filmed for Teen Mom, and why they told C&T not to post new pictures of her online. C&T want Carly to be the flower girl in their televised wedding. What part of that would be appropriate for a child? "Oh honey, these are your sometimes parents that want to be around for all your good time only, but they still love you lots!" She'd be the circus side-show freak at the wedding. Everyone would want to hold her, talk to her, take her picture. She's a small child, and could never understand. And I don't see where it would be beneficial for her to be there. Yes, Catelynn and Tyler made the right decision and they gave B&T an amazing gift, but that doesn't mean B&T need to be forever in their dept and agree to every request of C&T just because they created Carly. They need to accept they're not her parents, will never be her parents, and move on.

    1. You are so right. I think that they would probably have gone if it wasn't going to be on t.v. I don't really see her being the flower girl but just attending the wedding itself. Ty and Cate will have to make a choice. T.v. or Carly.

      Delete
    2. Okay, this is a little dramatic. Catelynn and Tyler get to be around for her "good time only" because they have an OPEN adoption. This was agreed upon before they placed her for adoption.

Brandon, Teresa and Carly could attend the wedding just like any other guest. They could let the family know that it is not okay to go up to them and grab their child etc. Which honestly I don't think anyone would do. I can see April and Tyler's mom talking to them, asking to hold her or whatever. But is that really going to hurt her? To have more people in her life that love her? It would be like going to see distant relatives.

The decision is ultimately up to Brandon and Teresa (no one said it wasn't....) But yes... lets hope that they agree to go, because it would mean so much to Catelynn, Tyler and their families.

      Delete
    3. Actually.. Their adoption is "semi-open". That is why at first they weren't aware of her last name, location, etc.

In any case, I think Catelynn and Tyler expect far too much with regards to Carly. They chose to give her up to parents who were able to provide a life for her that they were unable to provide themselves, and in doing so gave Brandon & Teresa absolute parental rights. They don't owe Catelynn & Tyler anything, it was THEIR decision. They can't just pick and choose when they want to see her for special occasions, especially considering she's in the public eye. Do people forget Carly is just a small child and all this would be a lot to explain/take in?

      Delete
    4. I don't think it's strange for them to wish that Carly could be there. Actually, I think it would be rude if they DIDN'T at least invite them. Of course, the decision is all Brandon and Teresa's from there.

      Delete
    5. When have Catelynn and Tyler EVER say that Brandon and Theresa were in their debt? They've never given that impression Brandon and Theresa owe them. And they obviously understand that B&T are Carly's parents; not them. Remember graduation? They might have been disappointed but they understood why they chose not to go. There is no harm in asking if Carly could participate. They obviously have a close relationship with Brandon, Theresa and Carly. Almost the family equivalent to aunt, uncle and niece. As for their family, they just have to set guidelines and boundries when meeting Carly. I see nothing wrong with their desire to have her involved. Now, if they had a closed adoption or got mad if B&T said no then that's pushing the line.

      Delete
    6. Do you guys forget that the wedding going to be televised? Brandon and thereasa don't want carly on tv. They agreed on one visit a year so anything more than that and it is asking to much. Besides it's all over the tv and.magazines that they want her to be the flower girl. How is that suposed to make them feel? They're being preasured into it by the public. It's wrong. Ty and cate should have kept their mouths shut until they got a yes or no from her parents.

      Delete
    7. You are right about them not wanting to film, and MTV worked around that. If they don't want to be filmed then they wont be. That doesn't mean they can't come. Carly doesn't even need to be IN the wedding. Her presence there would be enough for them.

They both have shown that they understand if they aren't there. That is part of adoption and they talk about that constantly. Catelynn and Tyler don't pressure them into anything and they certainly can't help what magazines write.

      Delete
    8. Ty and cate told the.magazines and reporters they want her to.be the flower girl. They shouldnt have said anything.

      Delete
    9. are you kidding me? They can't dream about wanting their little girl to be in their wedding? are you that heartless?

And honestly do you believe everything you read in the magazines? Even IF they said that out loud, it's a thought, its how they feel.

      Delete
    10. They're in the public eye. Its bad enough carlys parents have to hear carly refered to as cate and tys daughter when shes not now the public is going to rain fire and brimstone down on them.if they dont ley carly be the flower girl. Cate and ty will understand but they should have known better. They agreed on one visit a year and they ask for more. If it was a small ceremony of just close friends and family it would be different but its going to be on freakin tv with hundreds of people.

      Delete
    11. Did the world shun Brandon and Teresa for not taking Carly to their graduation? No. They didn't. Do you know Brandon and Teresa personally? I don't think so. They all seem very happy in their situation. Catelynn and Tyler have a growing relationship with them. Their trust is getting stronger, you can see that now that they gave Cate and Tyler their address. You are talking about them as if they hate Catelynn and Tyler and hate the fact that they are on TV when you really have no idea.

If anything watching the show is probably good for them. They can see how much Catelynn and Tyler respect them.

If you remember Brandon and Teresa allowed cameras into THEIR home to make a video for Catelynn and Tyler to see on the Adoption Special. Showing Carly's everyday life. For all any of us know they could have opted out of filming the last time due to them just not wanting themselves on tv anymore. Maybe due to work, or some other random reason.

I think a lot of people are jumping to conclusions about it. Obviously Cate and Tyler know them a lot better than all of us do.

      Delete
    12. Cate and Ty told them not to come to graduation because their parents wern't ready to be around her. They didn't decide not to come. I YOU remember Carly is a 3-4 year old little girl that hardly, if at all, remembers Catelynn and Tyler. It's to mcuh for a toodler to take in. I know that Cate and Ty have the upmost respect for them and understand they Brandon and Thresa and her parents not them but the rest of the general public dosen't seem to understand that. Carly is NOT Catelynn and Tylers daughter. They are her birth parents yet everyone refers to them as just her parents. I will not beliefe for one second that that does not bather her real aprents even jsut a little. I think the public needs to back off and keeo their opinions to themselves when it comes to this wedding. It is HER PARENTS choice and whatever one they make they will be making in the best intrest of their child. The public needs to get the pressure off of them. When they made the adoption plan they signed up for ONE VISIT A YEAR. Yes, they also signed up to have her on tv but I would guess that they didn't expect it to go this far or long. btw I never once acted like they hated cate an ty.

      Delete
    13. No one has said that Brandon and Teresa are not her parents. No one has said that the decision isn't up to them.

B&T and Cate&Tyler have a relationship. It's more than just a forced yearly visit. It is a growing relationship. Remember the book that Cate and Ty gave Carly? It has their voices in it? In the adoption special video Carly opens it up, hears their voice and says "Catelynn and Tyler" in her cute little toddler voice. They have a relationship and she knows who they are.

They signed up for an open adoption, perfectly willing to keep the bitch parents updated with photos and yearly visits. They have a very deep bond with them. And if Cate and Tyler want to invite them to the wedding then they can do that. They have said over and over that they are understanding and respectful of their decision as parents. Who cares what the public thinks?

Of course the public is going to root for Catelynn and Tyler and hope that they get to continue to be a part of Carly's life because they love her very much. How is that wrong? How is it wrong for people to care? Carly is doing just fine and being in contact with her birth parents, knowing who they are, having a relationship with them that is somewhat like one she would have with an aunt or an uncle or some other distant relative isn't going to hurt her.

      Delete
    14. wow BIRTH not Bitch. wtf typo of the day

      Delete
    15. Okay when did I say a relationship with them is bad?? It's wonderful. It'll avoid all those "why didn't my birth parents want me?" questions that most adopted children have. However have you ever heard of a distant relative asking a little girl to be the flower girl in their wedding?? It's not jsut Cate and Ty. Every single person at the wedding will want to talk to her and hold her and all that and she could easly be over stimulated and stressed out. The birth grandparents have come around and would most likely act right but theres a whole wedding full of people that don't understand. They'll be thinking oh look it's Cate and Tys daughter when she is not their daughter. Regardless of the fact that people accept the B&T are her parents they won't accept that Cate and Ty aren't. B&T should not be preasured or guilted into doing anything.

      Delete
    16. You can't assume a group of people are going to react. There can be rules. And yes plenty of people ask whatever little girl is in their family to be a flower girl. Not that they even have to do that. They can attend the wedding without her being IN the wedding. And if it becomes too much for them it's easy to leave. Cate and Ty have money and can hire security to make sure that everything goes well. There are things that they can do to solve these problems. IF B&T decide to come.

Whether or not certain family members can't get over the adoption is their own problem. Not Cate and Ty's and not B&T's. So how they feel about it is irrelevant.

I seriously doubt that B&T will feel guilt-ed into doing anything. They can say no. They have that power. Whether or not people WANT them to go is again irrelevant because the choice is ultimately theirs. People are going to feel how they feel.

I think they have all done exeptionally well i may not agree with some choices that they all made but it was their choice to make as for the wedding brandon and thereasa wouldnt have carly if it wasnt for caitlynn and tyler so i think she should go to the wedding but bottom line its their choice

  4. I'm watching the show right now and actually Debra says that she did tell Farrah about the different kinds of contraception, but that abstinence was the right decision. She says it pretty clearly, so I don't know where you're getting that about her never telling Farrah about birth control.

    2. "I didn't talk to her about the different forms of contraceptive but what I did do was talk about abstinence." Good job Debra. That made me mad. She didn't have to say here go get on birth control and have all kinds of sex. She should have said look heres all the ways you can protect yourself so even thoguh I don't want you to have sex you know how to keep safe if you do.

  6. Wow Ryan is such a d-bag in all his comments during his interview. One day Bentley is gonna be older and he will watch it and see what a d-bag Ryan is to his mother. So sad.

    1. How about what a douchebag Maci is to Ryan? Ryan's parents were spot on, every act they do is to try and hurt / one up the other. Saint Maci is not innocent in this.

Feel free to re-watch Maci's episode. There's a scene in it where Bentley is 4 months old, and Ryan is with his father in the gym. When was this scene shot? Right after Maci cheated on him with Kyle King, something Kyle admitted to. Ryan said he acted that way to Maci because he was unhappy, I wonder why. He also said on that episode that he only had a problem with her, and whenever it was just him and Bentley, he didn't have a problem with being a dad. You have your head shoved way too far up Maci's ass. So sad.

    2. You're right about maci not being innocent but theres no excuse for the way ryan talks to her. Especially in front of bentley and theres never an excuse for not being a dad. Besides did you hear the way he talked to dalis on the phone? He has no respect for women.

    3. I'm not excusing either of them. I said they both try to hurt each other / one up each other. And Ryan HAS changed with Bentley. You can't keep blaming a guy for something he did 4 years ago. Was it ok? No. But it's in the past. And once Maci realizes that, their relationship will be so much better.

    4. did I say Maci is a saint? No dumbass, I didn't. Don't get so butthurt over someone else's opinion.

    6. Is there a need to call people names? Come on. You can't complain about the way someone talks to another person when you are calling them a d-bag.

Ryan is honest and what he said was the obvious. Unlike Maci who is EXTREMELY fake. When she said that she went into doing 16 & Pregnant with the intentions of being completely honest and laying it all out there... I burst into laughter. She has lied about so much.

People think that Ryan was so awful for going out a lot in the beginning (which he did mostly to get away from maci not Bentley) Most people don't know that Maci has partied WAY MORE THAN RYAN over the past 4 years. She DOES go out on her nights with Bentley too. Which she is always denying but if you pay attention she is lying her ass off.

  7. Dude he was screaming at her on his 3rd bday! Then when she tried to shut the truck door so bentley couldnt hear he kept it open so dalis could! Yeah she should have said something earlier but she was trying to include him in his son party! He should have gone no matter how much he dosent like maci and then he taled to her like that! She can be bad but he is awful.

    1. Maci was wrong for how she went about that whole birthday thing. And Ryan was not screaming at her. Yeah he should have let her close the door but i think Maci wanted the door closed mostly because of Dalis and Ryan went there with no intention of having a huge argument with her so for him there really was no need to close the door. He wasn't looking for a huge fight, but his anger got the best of him when Maci stood there and LIED to his face and was being immature and irrational.

  8. She was trying to include him. Its outrageous that benny never gets time with both if his parents. There was no excuse for him not going. She didnt lie. Bentley said he wanted them there so she let him call and ask. Yes it was her idea and she should have given them a bit more time but its not like they had anything better to do. Oh they went out to eat. He coukd have come bavk a half hour early to bounce around with his kid. It dosent matter why she wanted it closed. He kept it open so his bitchy little gf could hear them fight. He was the one being immature and irrational. Yelling at her and calling her stupid and swearing. She stayed calm and walked away when it became obvious he wasnt going to chill out. Ryan is a child. In that case maci was 100% right. She could have done it different but she had good intentions. Shes not always innocent but she is a loooot more than ryan is.

    1. No she asked Bentley if he wanted his dad to come. What kid is going to say no to that? If she wanted to include him she should have been a responsible adult and called him ahead of time and invited him. She had Bentley call him the day before.

Maci should have never put that idea in Bentley's head without making sure first. How do you know that Ryan wasn't doing anything else? How would Maci know what he is doing?

And what is so bitchy about Dallas? If you are referring to the one comment she made "good" she was talking to Ryan about being done with talking to Maci. Because their intentions were to go there and keep it civil. Ryan didn't want to fight with her.

Maci calls Ryan names and curses in from of Bentley. They both do it and it isn't right for either of them. Maci has also used Bentley when fighting with Ryan, telling him that she can "take him if she wants to." Right in front of Bentley at his last birthday party. Maybe that's why Ryan doesn't want to have parties with her anymore. (And yes she has done this on camera but no one seems to pay attention to that.) Ryan didn't yell at her either. Yes he did call her stupid because she was standing there refusing to see that she had done something inconsiderate. He was upset because she was forcing him to do something they had already agreed they weren't going to do. They don't get along so really I think it's better that they do the parties separately.

They had agreed to do the parties separate way in advance. If this was such a big deal for her then she should have planned it out and asked him ahead of time. She was wrong in this situation.

    2. He was yelling at her. He's always yelling at her. He's more.worried about how much he dosent like maci then what best for his kid. I say dalis is bitchy cause of the way she was on the finale plus how she acted when jenelle posted a pic of her.in a bra that was already on the internet. She got all mad and acted like jenelle posted something private and it was a modeling photo. Shes just mean and stuck up. Even the good comment. It would have been way worse had she said it to maci but she should have kept her big mouth shut. It had nothing to do with her. My poiny about maci is still that she meant well. She shouldnt have to apoligize for that.

    3. Of course she meant well. But even with the best intentions people make mistakes and yes they should apologize for them.

  9. Random but the girl who went with Catelynn to pick out her dress along with their moms and Tyler's sister is her friend Starr. She is in a few other episodes. (I know for sure she was in episode 1 of season 2)
