Teen Mom 2 Returns in November!

MTV has finally announced the return of Teen Mom 2! It looks like "Teen Mom Tuesdays" are no more, because they've switched to Mondays! Understandably, if it was going to continue to be on Tuesdays we would have to wait for the first season of Underemployed to end since it's in that time slot. I don't think fans could make it that long so I'm pleased to announce that Teen Mom 2 will return on November 12th at 10pm on MTV!

Now if you want some spoilers for Season 3 keep reading because I'm about to give you a little sneak peek of all the drama that is to come this season with each girl!

This season on Teen Mom 2:
Fresh out of her divorce to Corey Simms Leah finds love again with a guy named Jeremy. Their relationship moves fast and the two become engaged... and pregnant. Sadly Leah's pregnancy with Jeremy ends in a miscarriage which is sure to be one of the most emotional moments of her story this season.
Chelsea not surprisingly forgives Adam once again when he buys her a promise ring. She lets him move back into her house but when Randalicious finds out he finally puts his foot down and kicks Adam out! (This will probably be my favorite TM2 moment this year.)
Jenelle of course continues her partying ways and getting into trouble with Kieffer. We will briefly see her old boyfriend Josh that no one really remembers because he was one of those "in between" guys that she wasn't with for long. Then Jenelle starts to question whether or not Andrew is the father of Jace after all and considers getting a paternity test.
Kailyn sets off in search of her long lost half sister in Texas, meanwhile her mother starts some trouble when she tries to see Isaac behind Kailyn's back. Later she meets Javi who asks her on a date. She has been with ever since.

Leah Calvert (Messer) Offends Her Fans During Presidential Debate

During the most recent Presidential debate as usual people were on edge and arguing about politics. It all started with a simple tweet to Leah that someone random had made accusing her of being on government assistance. Leah replied with:
"Government assistance? They should get rid of it! Then maybe people will WORK for a living... idc"

Needless to say, people were offended. Considering a good portion of Leah's die hard fans are getting help from the government right now, her words hurt.

She claims now that her tweet was about people who abuse the system. Not people who need it because she herself has known poverty and even had to live in a homeless shelter at one point in her life.

Unfortunately she is contradicting what she said originally. That government assistance should be "gotten rid of." To me if this was a simple mistake and misunderstanding a follow up tweet of something like "I'm sorry, that last tweet came out wrong. I meant more that the system should be monitored better." or "I meant people who abuse the system not people who need it, I apologize." would have made sense and probably would have had fans forgiving her. Sadly that did not happen. Leah instead defended her statement. Retweeting fans that agreed with her and blocking the people who were angry with her.

Understandably later when Leah's mother wrote a note on her fan page about what Leah "really meant" fans didn't take it well. Since she had already offended everyone and then defended her statement that she later amended. So the post that "explained" why she said what she did was soon deleted.

To add fuel to the fire, Leah's new husband Jeremy took to his own twitter to express his feelings. Stating that "This is simple. Pass a damn drug test if you want welfare or ss I have to so I can work to support worthless people." ......... Again, not the best wording. I can perhaps understand the point he is trying to make, what I don't understand is why he continued to curse at people on twitter and also boast about his $19K a month income to random people he doesn't know.

This whole situation could have been minimized by a simple apology for how the tweet sounded. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, that is for sure, but when someone who makes over 250K a year says that government assistance should be taken away its going to turn some heads. Especially when a lot of those thousands of fans that saw the tweet are young parents themselves who don't have a choice but to have government help.

I've said this before but my advice to all the cast members is to be careful what you put out there online. You are aware of the number of followers you have. So think before you tweet and remember that those fans are why you get your MTV paychecks!

Ebony Rendon Gives Birth to a Baby Girl!

16 & Pregnant Season 1 Ebony Rendon (Jackson) recently gave birth to another baby girl. Most people remember her as the girl who was arrested and had her first daughter taken by CPS. The back story is Ebony and husband had a miscarriage with their second pregnancy which led into Ebony to a debilitating depression. During that time Ebony let the house go to the point that CPS deemed her home unlivable and arrested both her and Josh.

Since then Ebony has attended rehab for her depression and the couple have taken parenting classes. Their home is clean once again and they have custody of their first daughter back. Now on to their most recent bundle of joy! Born on October 16th, her name is Jayda Jewell Rendon!
